CVA combines accuracy, ease of use, and maximum performance with the Accura MR-X (Mountain Rifle) Break-Action Muzzleloader. It comes equipped with a 26-inch stainless steel barrel made by Bergara – an industry leader in producing extremely accurate muzzleloader barrels. The Accura MR-X’s shorter barrel makes it ideal for confined spaces such as tree stands and dense thicket. Despite the shorter length, the 26-inch barrel is still capable of long range accuracy thanks to a twist rate optimized for modern bullets and powder, resulting in flatter trajectories. Accuracy is further enhanced thanks to the Accura MR-X’s adjustable cheek piece to ensure proper alignment between the shooter’s eye and iron sights/optics. The Accura MR-X’s loading rod is made from lightweight carbon fiber and is collapsible – this eliminates the need to hang the ramrod under the barrel and improves accuracy even more. Other features of the Accura MR-X include a takedown design to make storage/transportation easy, and a threaded muzzle makes allows a Paramount Muzzle Brake to be installed for reduced recoil.
