Silca Hold Fast Carbon Assembly Paste (3.38oz)

Product Description

Silca Hold Fast Carbon Assembly Paste Description: Silca Hold Fast Carbon Assembly Paste is engineered to significantly reduce the amount of clamping torque that is needed to prevent lightweight components from slipping and moving around. A dye-free, tacky silicone base formula is loaded up with loads of silicate friction additives to create a paste that stays exactly where it is applied, and that paste also creates a highly corrosion resistant layer between components that will prevent those parts from getting stuck together. Add in the fact that this made in the USA product will not stain clothing, is safe for virtually any material and surface finish found on a bike, and any excess is easily wiped away, and the result is a product that will ensure the safe installation, maintenance, and usage of lightweight bicycle components. Features: High-tack silicone carrier formula stays in place, wipes clean, and is safe for use on carbon fiber, titanium, aluminum, and painted surfaces Formulation provides outstanding dielectric protection, meaning there is outstanding corrosion resistance that will prevent components made of different materials from becoming chemically welded together over time Significantly more silicate friction additives than typical carbon pastes results in increased surface friction that allows for lower clamping torque to secure seatposts, stems, and other cockpit components Clear and dye-free formulations won't stain fingers, clothing, or paint Extremely stable formulation ensures this product can last up to 5 years on the shelf Proudly formulated and manufactured in the USA
