Choosing a Name for product has never been harder. The new Fish FighterA(R) Tackle Tender(TM) does so many things we struggled with coming up with a name that says it all. Rod Handler, Tackle Holder, Tackle Station, Rod Station, Trolling Mate all seemed fitting but we settled on Tackle Tender(TM) because it does such a great job of tending your rig. For those of you who fish using flashers and cannon ball sinkers, you know managing all that tackle can be challenging. In our effort to build the best product we could, we reached out to our Fish Fighter(TM) Pro-Staffers. We worked extensively with our Pro Staff Fishing Guides Cody Herman from Day One Outdoors and Austin Moser with Austins Northwest Adventures in designing this product. These guys fish over 300 days a year and really know what works and what doesn&';t. The result of a year of testing and hard use on the water has led us to the Fish FighterA(R) Tackle Tender(TM). The Fish FighterA(R) Brand Tackle Tender(TM) is designed to hold Dodgers, 360 Flashers, or Triangle Flashers like Yakima Baits Big Als Fish FlashA(R), Pro TrollA(R) Flashers, Short Bus Flasher, and Apex Hot Spot Flashers to name a few. We put two slots in the mount to accept large and small flashers, whether you troll for Kokanee or King Salmon we got ya covered. The Fish FighterA(R) Brand Tackle Tender(TM) is made from King Starboard Marine Grade Plastic and Aluminum so you know it will last for generations to come. The Sinker Holder holds Cannonball Sinkers from 5oz to 24 oz. We also put a hole in base of the Sinker Holder so the sinker wont roll around. The Bait Holder tray is wide enough to hold, Herring Rigs, Anchovy Rigs, Egg Ball, or Hard Baits like Kwik Fish. We also machined in an upper and lower Fishing Rod Holder so you can easily stand your rod up and hold it into position. By using an upper and lower mount, your rod butt wont slide all over in the boat (ugh). But wait, there&';s more. We also used easy to replace Rubber Band style retainers that hold your rod secure. There is also a Bottom Bouncer weight holder machined into the base. We give you lots of options when it comes to mounting the Tackle Tender(TM). The (4) Mounting Holes will allow you to mount this Rod Tender(TM) behind your Rod holder, you can also mount it to a Gunnel Slider or directly to the side of your Gunnel. We made the bolt pattern universal so it will work with any CannonA(R), Scotty A(R), CabelasA(R) or FolbeA(R) Rod Holders. As a final option we installed a Hole on the side so you can clip on a Fish Fighter(TM) Bait Towel so everyone in the boat has a hand towel.
