Product Description
Small but impressive. The CamelBak Rouge Light hydration backpack boasts many great features. When I unpacked it, I immediately noticed the low weight, the very compact shape and the high-quality materials including reflective elements. With a volume of 7 litres, the Rouge Light offers enough space for the most essential bike accessories: there is a mesh pocket inside for a multitool. Tyre levers and a spare inner tube can be stored in the internal compartment. A mini pump and a smartphone can be stored in the large outer pocket. I stored my windbreaker, gloves and helmet cap in the elastic pocket. However, it&'; s best to start with the 2-litre hydration bladder when packing, as it&';s a bit difficult to get it into the small opening of the backpack once it&';s filled. Drinking works excellently and the tube can be quickly reattached to the right carrying strap thanks to Quicklink. There&'; s nothing that feels unpleasant on the back, chest or shoulders - it&';s really very comfortable to wear. And thanks to the Air support(TM) back panel with Body Mapping technology, my back always stayed dry during the bike ride and I didn&';t break a sweat at all.
