The Aero Lite and Aero ice screw caps were designed with the intent to not only protect the ice screw teeth, but to also solve several problems: The loop on the caps allows for a quick, one-handed operation when removing the screw and allows the cap to easily be racked on the users&';ice clipper. Another feature on the ice screw cap are the vents. We put vents on the sides and bottom of the caps to allow airflow for any left-over ice/water to drain and allow the screw tip to dry.
