Unior 584/4BI-US Cable Housing Cutters Description: The Unior 584/4BI-US Cable Housing Cutters were designed to deliver easy, clean cuts to reinforced cable housing. This tool uses induction hardened steel for a durable and strong tool that also produces repeatable clean cuts with minimal deformation to the housing. After the housing has been cut to length, the built in crimping mechanism allows for metal cable and housing ends to be permanently attached. The long handles have a double density grips for comfort and good control of this tool during use, and when it comes time to put the tool away there is a built in locking mechanism that will protect the cutting area and make the tool more compact for easier storage. NOTE: These cutters were designed specifically to cut housing. While they can cut inner shift and brake cables, Unior encourages the use of side cutters or other cable cutters to cut spokes or inner cables to ensure the optimum housing cutting performance and long life of the 584/4BI-US Cable Housing Cutters.
