GBRS Group Hydra V2 Mount Kit HYDRA is the first dual optic mount designed for end-users that offers a 2.91" Optic Centerline for faster target ID, regardless of gear/ equipment obstructions, ie. EarPro/Comms headsets, Gas masks/ CBRN, and Night vision use. A higher Optic allows for a more athletic posture and "Heads-up" attitude that enables the end-users to maintain a vertical spine which translates to body armor or "presenting plates" to the threat. This "Heads-up" style allows for faster processing speed and increased situational awareness. The unique and patented design offers an elevated MIL-STD-1913, or Picatinny platform for directly attaching accessories such as lights, optics, thermals, and aiming devices. It&&';;s perfect for the super short PDW/SMG platforms where rail space is limited, but mounting a light and aiming device is still critical. The pass-through on the neck allows for cable management or iron sight pass-through on the AIMPOINTA(R) and TrijiconA(R) variants. There is no longer a need to compromise your grip because of equipment or have to relocate your hands because of limited rail space. We achieve this by elevating accessories like the light or laser off the Picatinny and closer to the red dot optic. This alleviates obscuration and brings the weight to the center of the platform over the magazine well.
