The Brownells Silvaloy 355 silver solder is a premium, cadmium-free solder formulated for bonding a range of metals, including steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel and precious metals. Comprising 56% silver, it provides superior flow characteristics and a low melting point, making it suitable for precise applications such as the installation of sights and ramps on stainless steel firearms. The solder has a melting point of 1145 deg F and a flow point of 1205 deg F, ensuring the formation of strong, reliable joints. For optimal performance, it is advised to use this solder in conjunction with Ultra Flux.
