Produce loud, raspy yelps, cuts, and clucks to get the gobbler's attention at a distance and draw it back with soft purrs when he gets up close. Place your tongue against the reeds, then apply pressure. Push air from your throat to produce notes. Yelp: With pressure applied to reed, say the words "chick" or "chuck" with even rhythm.
