As a classic no-nonsense tackle knife, the Boker Seenotretter is aimed at professional and private users on maritime and inland waters or people who work a lot with ropes. It is made entirely of stainless steel. The main blade made of 1.4116 is equipped with a half wave to cut encrusted ropes and harnesses. The marlin spike (for untying hardened knots) also includes shackle and bottle openers. Both blades are held in place by a robust and dirt-resistant slipjoint. For durability and reliability, solid domehead studs are used instead of screws. The front scale is embossed with the Hanseatic cross, the well-known emblem of the DGzRS. Carrying is made easier with a deep-carry clip (tip-up/r). A generously dimensioned cord eyelet protects against loss. For every knife sold, Boker donates 5 Euros to the SAR-organization German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS).
