Norman Brux has been making cut rifles barrels with Ken Liebetrau in Lodi, Wisconsin since 2003. Norman's father had bought and stored some barrel making machinery years back; Ken and Norm completed the machines and put them into service, starting Brux barrels.All barrels are cut with conventional rifling. Most are 4 groove but the .338, .45, and .50 cals are 6 groove.Brux uses solid carbide cutter hooks and has a slightly different manufacturing process which ensures the barrels are concentric and straight.
