The mitts have the same hard-wearing outer as Hestra's other Army Leather models but also extra strong high-functioning synthetic insulation. The liner is removable and easy to dry or wash. When the temperature or activity levels rise, a thinner liner can be worn instead. The microfleece liner is comfortable against the skin, and the synthetic insulation adds warmth and wicks away moisture. The high cuff shuts out snow and cold. The snow-lock drawcord is easily adjusted with one hand, as is the wrist width.
