Product Description

This Graves Motorsports Cat Eliminator exhaust is designed for the racer on a budget seeking the closest performance exhaust to a full race system. Graves Motorsports did not allow compromises in the development of this system. Material diameters, lengths, the silencer core size and length are optimized for maximum power output throughout the throttle and RPM range. This Graves Motorsports slip-on exhaust system is built using the same Championship design and craftsmanship found in every Graves Motorsports Exhaust and is hand-made in the USA! This high performance exhaust system features either stainless steel or titanium tubing (most models) that eliminates the restrictive catalytic system with your choice of carbon fiber or titanium silencers (most models). Graves silencers feature conical titanium - standard satin finished or the polished "Showstopper" version - or carbon fiber endcaps. Graves uses the same 1.00 mm thick wall high-heat grade titanium tubing used on their Superbikes. This material is designed special for maximum durability and oxidation resistance up to 800°Celsius / 1472°Fahrenheit. It is designed to live at almost twice the temperature of normal Grade 2 titanium. The tubes are precision bent and cut with the latest equipment available. The tubing is then welded in fixtures designed so that repeat-ability is second to none. Graves Motorsports' "Everlast" packing produces an exhaust note like no other, and holds up longer to the extreme conditions of a high revving motorcycle. This full exhaust system delivers exactly what your bike deserves: increased POWER, lasting durability, weight loss, IMPROVED style and sound. Graves Motorsports Yamaha R3 LINK Carbon Cat-Eliminator Exhaust for the Yamaha R3 sportbike. This exhaust is new from the ground up with record breaking race developed features. Graves' precise engineering develops precision products that are designed to outlook, outperform and outlast the competition. This system was developed to eliminate the O.E.M. cat system and requires cutting the header before installation. You can also upgrade this system with a header and Y pipe later to "LINK" it into a Graves full race spec system used on their MotoAmerica race bikes (the silencer is identical). New Diamond Shaped Silencer Design (carbon fiber with carbon end cap), configured to balance the R3's body lines and produce the best balance of dyno proven power. Countless hours of R&D went into the specific length and structure of this silencer to produce the BEST possible power signature when tuned with FTEcu software (sold separately). Silencer mounts directly to the motorcycle by using a stealth carbon fiber strap, saving weight and streamlining looks. Constructed from premium grade stainless steel. Stainless linking pipe to join to O.E.M. header. Advanced welding process showcases laser perfection welds. Tapered header down pipes. Come standard with a GMS exhaust insert to quiet sound (removable). Note: This product is intended for closed course competition use ONLY. Use of this product for any other purpose is strictly prohibited. Detailed Specifications: Stock Part (you cut off back) = 8.2 pounds. Graves cat eliminator system weight = 5.3 pounds. Stock sound at idle: 79.5dB, at 5000 RPM: 87dB. GMS Cat Elim with included sound insert at Idle 82db GMS Full System with included sound insert at 5000 RPM 92db .
