Sporting all-mountain performance in a lightweight package, the do-it-all trail fork is back and features new damper technology and a limited-edition colorway. Celebrating 50 years of suspension mastery, Fox's 2025 model year forks get new damper tech, and if we are lucky enough to get our hands on one, a limited-edition Podium Gold fork. The Fox 34 Float 29in Factory GripX Fork is fitted with Fox's new GripX damper, which is 120 grams lighter than its new big sibling, the GripX2, and is more focused on balanced performance going up and down. The GripX features characteristics from both the Fit4 and Grip2 dampers but in a simpler, more efficient package. Dual high and low compression adjustments are similar to the old Grip2, but now we have a firm setting at the end of the high-speed compression range for efficient climbing. In addition, the rebound took a hit and is now limited to a single but broader rebound adjustment for simplicity on the trails. This new setup makes for a more capable, lighter, and simplified fork that excels all over the trails. The Fox 34 Float 29in Factory GripX Fork is finished with Kashima-coated 34mm stanchions for buttery smooth all-mountain performance and has magnesium lowers for durability and weight savings.
