The MI AK-47 Extended railed handguard is designed to fit most milled and stamped variants of the of the AK family. The handguard attaches around the barrel to provide a solid mounting platform. The upper portion of the handguard is attached to the lower handguard, instead of the gas tube to provide a solid platform to mount optics. The lower portion of the handguard is 9.5" long, extending past the standard handguard all the way to the gas block. The Handguard is constructed with 6061 hardcoat anodized aluminum, mil-spec 1913 rails with T-marks. Installation tools are provided. Installation requires the removal of the forward sling loop on the handguard retainer. Lifetime warranty, made in the USA.
