Whether we're building up a long-distance gravel steed or a race-ready cyclocross bike, the SRAM Force 1 Shifter and Brake Set gives us off to a great start. Each option includes a lever and caliper, with the left side being a brake lever only, and the right side functioning as both a brake and 11-speed shift lever. It's designed for 1 x 11 drivetrains, as the left lever functions as a brake only and will not work with front derailleurs.
