The Jegermester knife is intended for cutting up big game. It has a relatively thin 12C27 steel blade with excellent edge-holding and sharpness. The knife has an attractive curly birch handle with a brass guard. The Jegermester includes a pouch style leather sheath. Every Helle knife is made in their factory at Holmedal in western Norway. All knives are created by highly skilled craftsmen who care deeply about their work. The process includes up to 45 different manual operations before the knife is finally inspected and approved. Each knife is unique! Due to the nature of organic material, variation in color and pattern will occur.
