It consists of a heavy borosilicate glass sheet adhered to a glass plate with a frosted marking spot. The two-piece cover glass slides are regularly sized according to the marking spot and are supplied with an explanatory triangle to allow easy recognition of the cover glass. It is manufactured in accordance with DIN ISO 8255-1. The heavy borosilicate glass cover glass slides are of the highest quality and precision-ground to ensure a perfect fit. They give a clear and sharp view of the sample. The frontal view covers are made of a tough borosilicate glass which provides high light transmission and maximum contrast.
