These self-powered laminar flow fan filter units have a modular design to fit into a standard 3.8cm (11/2") gasketed T-bar dropped ceiling grid system. All units feature a HEPA or optional ULPA filter (99.99percent efficient at 0.3 m 99.9995percent efficient at 0.12 m) a walkable plenum a unique baffling system that provides low sound levels and a replaceable snap-in prefilter that extends the life of the HEPA filter by trapping larger particles. The MAC10 Original units feature a 1/5hp permanent split capacitor (PSC) motor with a three-speed switch for operation on low medium or high speed or an optional solid state speed control. These units have low noise levels of approximately 49dBA at low speed. The room-side replaceable (RSR) unit features a gel-seal filter element and allow for full room-side maintenance of the unit including filter motor and electrical access. It is ideal for areas with limited access or in applications where frequent filter changes are required. Ducted ceiling model filters are designed for use in cleanroom applications where airflow is dependent upon existing central air systems.
