You can easily holster the Tokarev and it will even lock up if you forget. The single action (double action) means that the pistol cannot be loaded with the pressure of your finger or thumb. To clear the slide you push the forward lever down and move the slide with your trigger finger. All you need is to remove the slide safety to load the single BB cartridge that is in the chamber.
