The Knee Shields are an articulated, rigid shell knee pad constructed from a plastic alloy material for excellent durability, making it the ideal choice for Corrections officers in inmate confrontation and control situations. It fully protects the knee beyond what standard style knee pads offer. With a hard shell constriction, it is able to resist penetration from sharp or pointed objects, such as glass, rocks, and metal edges. The heavy elastic with Velcro allows it to be easily adjusted to go from a comfortable loose fitting to a tight fitting quickly before a conflict. Knee shield weighs approximately 16 oz.
