HT Enterprises Polar Picks are used if you should happen to break through the ice. You can use the picks to dig into the ice around you and pull yourself out of the freezing water. The five inch picks with fluorescent orange handles are connected with a black plastic covered stretch cord. The Polar picks are designed to be rested over your shoulders with the cord resting on the backside of your neck.
