The sender main body features a plated steel construction to help eliminate damage caused by fuel slosh. These units contain an SAE standard 5-hole metal mounting flange and body components, which can be adjusted from 6 in. to 23 in. tank depth, and are adaptable to right or left hand swingarm. For maximum durability, the wiper and thick film resistor are shielded (from fuel slosh) and the float arm stops to ensure the wiper remains in contact with its resistor board when tank is full or low.
