This quick connect flush port is designed to permanently replace your existing OEM flush port plug. It allows you to get a quick connection every time you flush your outboard during routine maintenance. Easy to use all you have to do is twist off the cap, connect your hose, flush the system then reverse the steps.Constructed from marine grade materials, this quick connect port is designed for long lasting with resistance to UV and corrosive effects from marine environments. A double O-ring design ensures a tight and leak free seal every time. A secured locking cap provides protection against accidental disconnection during routine maintenance.This quick connect port is compatible with Mercury Four Stroke, Racing, Pro CS, and Verado series engines. Click here for a full comparability chart.Includes: Mercury Male Quick Connect; Female Hose Quick Connect; 90 elbow; Wrench; Stainless Steel Hose Clamp; Installation Instructions: Remove the OEM Mercury flush port plug and unscrew the OEM plug from the 3/4" female hose outlet; Remove the lanyard from the engine hose and thread in the new Flush Port Quick Connect to he flush port; Reinstall the Seamule flush port quick connect into the engine cowling; Turn 1/4" clockwise to lock it in place; It is recommended to remove the cowling and inspect the flush hose for any kinks. If one does exist replace the Mercury 3/4" female hose outlet with the provided elbow and orient it inside the cowling to ensure no kinks are present in the Mercury flush hose. If struggling to insert the 90 elbow lube the barb or use a heat gun on the flush hose.
