The glass reinforced polyamide body has an aggressive tire bead hook and has the strength and stiffness required to get a stubborn tire off of the rim; this body also operates as an ergonomic handle for the rugged chain breaker/spoke wrench. Powerful magnets hold everything together while allowing for the tool to be separated as needed, and there is even a small magnet and recess within the body that will hold a chain quick link/master link (sold separately) so tangled and damaged chains can be repaired on the fly. Best of all, this extension will add minimal weight to any repair kit so there is minimal performance impact on the bike that is more than balanced out by the peace of mind it offers the rider.
