Only about 3,000 9mm DWM 1906 Amerian Eagle Luger pistols were produced. The 4" barrel has a fine bore with very light frosting in the grooves. The gun has approx. 95% blue and 80% straw finish overall. As expected, this gun has the American Eagle over the chamber, DWM marked toggle, grip safety, and the polished lower position on the thumb safety. Thhe extractor is marked LOADED on the left side. The unnmubered grips are fine with light wear. It is equipped with a correct unnumbered wood base magazine. All the serial numbers are matching. GERMANY is stamped on the front of the frame below the serial number. There are no proof marks. The action functions correctly. This is a very nice example of the uncommon 1906 American Eagle Luger that was exported to the U.S. It is especially desirable in 9mm. (PR57146)
