The OPF-P365X RMRcc adapter plate is machined from 4140 steel and finished with a durable black oxide coating. Black nitride is intentionally avoided due to the thin plate extension over the slide, where nitride could cause brittleness. Specifically engineered for the SIG P365X and P365XL, this plate accounts for the unique design where the optics plate and rear sight are integrated. Removing the factory optics plate also removes the rear sight, allowing for the installation of a red dot optic but leaving the slide without rear iron sights. To address this, the OPF-P365X RMRcc is made taller than typical adapter plates, ensuring a flat mounting surface for the RMRcc while maintaining enough thickness to include a rear sight dovetail. With the factory front sight measuring 0.510 inches above the top of the P365X slide, this design provides proper sight alignment while retaining durability and function in a compact, optics-ready system.
