The sharp downturn and aggressive curvature help us grab and pull, while the split-sole design lets us plantar- and dorsiflex to the max for toe- and heel-hook security. And when we pull onto the face, there's moderately soft RS rubber and a stiff midsole insert under the toe for all-around performance.
