The GORE-TEX shell provides durable and breathable waterproofing for soft snow and surprise storms while the zippered inner thigh zippers add ventilation to moderate our temps when we're riding hard or catching late-season snow. We also like the articulated fit and crotch gusset to stay mobile on the mountain as we play in the powder.
