This plate is installed directly on the shotgun receiver.All the screws necessary for mounting are included with the package and there\'s no need for professional gunsmithing - installation is straightforward. Most shotguns will not require any alterations for this to fit. Please be aware though, if you have a field grade shotgun, some adjustment to the shotgun\'s forend might be required. If you\'re using the TacStar pistol grip forend, there is no need for any modification.
