These are imported by Century Arms and are their F-Code pistols( HG2336-F ) indicating that they graded them as surplus Fair condition. As such, expect a functional pistol but with a certain amount of dings, dents, and finish wear. Century usually does a pretty good job of grading and we usually agree with their grading but please know that a fair condition pistol is at the lower end of the grading code. Remember the NRA Surplus scale has 6 different grading positions. Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, Excellent, and Like New. Fair\'s s are typically functional but very well used /carried , and will exhibit heavy carry use with typically somewhere between 20 to 40% of the bluing and original finish remaining. I would say that overall most of these actually grade out on the higher end of that but if you are looking for a pageant winner don\'t buy one. In fact expect an ugly gun. Still it would be a great re-finish project or truck box gun and as I said they should be functional. Some of these are the Hi-Power style with the wood grips, and some are the Smith and Wesson style with the black polymer grips. Some have lanyard rings and some do not. We are not offering a hand select option on these F code pistols. It would be like trying to pick the prettiest girl at the Hunchback Dance....
