Custom, heirloom-quality pens and pencils that are designed, machined, and finished right here in the USA.HOW OUR PENS ARE MADESTEP 1CUT EACH PIECE OUT OF A SOLID BLOCK OF METALFirst the body and slider are cut out of a solid bar of premium stainless steel independently in the USA. The clip is machined out of Grade 5 Titanium to give it the perfect flex and strength.STEP 2FINISH THE PENOnce we have the body and clip, we put them through a custom multi-step finishing process right here in San Antonio. This gives the pen its beautiful brushed look and ensures an exact fit between the two. For most manufacturers this would be "good enough." But, for Modern Fuel, we want to ensure the pencil is flawless, so we take it one step further.STEP 3INSPECT AND ASSEMBLEWith the pen fully finished, we carefully inspect each part and ensure it meets our extremely tight standards for release. Many of the pieces are rejected, but the ones which pass are hand assembled by our small team and then fully tested.STEP 4LASER ENGRAVE THE ONE-OF-A-KIND PRODUCTFinally, we review every order and use a precision fiber laser engraver to customize pen bodies as requested.
