The STR-9 itself features a highly ergonomic grip design with stippled texturing in in strategic areas and aggressive rear checkering on the back strap for superior control over the weapon even in adverse conditions. To promote positive manipulations when chambering a round, clearing the weapon, or preforming press-checks, the STR-9's slide features deeply cut cocking serrations in the front and rear areas, and a tactile loaded-chamber indicator on the top of the receiver allows the operator to immediately tell if a round is chambered. The STR-9 Optics Package is topped off with an included Burris Fast Fire III Micro Red Dot Sight. This compact optic features an highly visible reticle for rapid target acquisition and engagement, and index-matched Hi-Lume multicoatings enhances low-light performance and eliminates glare.
