MSR 520 Gold Series X-Ring Chain, MSR 520 Gold Series X-Ring Chains are built link-by-link using a chromoly steel construction with seamless rollers and bushings. The pins are oversized special alloy for added strength. All components are heat treated using an exclusive heat induction transfer process. The low friction O-Ring chain uses the latest technology in O-rings to minimize drag. The cross section of the O-ring has three contact points against the plates. This also creates two distinct channels that captures lube and protects it from the dust; dirt and water that contaminates it or worse washes it away.
