Interior shapes, especially the critical radius leading into the carburetor or throttle body, have been carefully designed.
Outer cover incorporates an additional scoop to direct air into a high-flow, washable foam filter element that seats snuggly in the end of round K&N(R) filter elements.
Frontal opening is huge and, as with all Hyperchargers, the vacuum operated butterflies allow almost unrestricted airflow to the filter under high-load riding situations.
This filter assembly is one of the best flowing on the market and is capable of supplying enough air to even the highest output street motors.
Kit contains an all-chrome Pro-R Hypercharger(TM), mounting kit and carburetor jetting necessary for a complete, sanitary installation.
Tech tip: It is highly recommended that installation and jetting be performed by an authorized dealer or other qualified technician.
Notes: For optimum performance and drivability on fuel-injected motorcycles, the Wild Things(R) Fuel Injector Controller is strongly recommended. Some of the high performance air cleaners protrude out further than the standard unit to achieve smoother flow and better performance.
