Mixing Bowl Lid, A component of the Mix n Blend II, the mixing bowl lid should be placed on the bowl whenever operating the mixer to avoid spills. The lid also helps keep dough mass down so that proper kneading can occur. The lid opening allows you to easily add ingredients, such as final amounts of flour, to a dough mixture.
