Santa Cruz Bicycles Hightower D Mountain Bike - 2022, Equipped with more suspension travel than the Tallboy but not quite as hefty as the Megatower the Hightower hits that mid-travel sweet spot for all-mountain riding. We've loved this bike ever since we threw a leg over the first-generation Hightower in 2016 and the current version is better than ever thanks to the refined lower-link VPP suspension and updated geometry. The Hightower's 145mm of rear travel is paired with a 150mm front fork meaning we can take on everything from big-mileage XC rides to black-diamond runs at the bike park.
