The Freedom is a traditional wrap-around concealable armor vest, worn over a t-shirt or compression shirt, and usually under a uniform shirt or jacket. While it uses the same wrap-around armor panels as our VIP Multi-Threat T-Shirt system, the Freedom offers more adjustment points than the VIP. The Freedom also has an internal front and rear pocket allowing the use of 10"x12"x1" hard armor plates inside the vest. The front plate pocket also has a 6"x8" pocket for use with a speed plate. This means you can get both the VIP and the Freedom and use the same armor for both, depending on your requirements.How to adjust your Freedom Concealable Vest:Insert your armor into the carrierLoosen the waist straps/cummerbund, then put the carrier onAdjust the shoulder straps so that the lowest part of the "neck" of the front panel is the same height as your sternum notch at the top of your breastboneAlign the bottom edge of the back panel to be the same level as the front panelAffix the shoulder strapsAdjust the waist straps or cummerbund for a snug fit, making sure the sides of the FRONT PANEL overlap the rear panelOnce set, you shouldn't have to adjust your shoulder straps again unless you significantly change what you're wearing under the vest.
