This is evident in the Sharp-Tail Target's slightly longer 30-inch barrels 14.75-inch length of pull and an included set of five extended chokes. Like the standard Sharp-Target the Sharp-Target Coach features a precision CNC-machined receiver with independent free-floating firing pins. The pins are operated by coil springs rather than leaf springs and feature redesigned sears. These improvements translate to a significantly longer service life and greater consistency. Like its predecessor the Sharp-Tail Target's receiver is color case hardened - not only does this provide excellent resistance to the elements but also gives the gun a sophisticated appearance reminiscent of early side-by-side shotguns.
