This aluminum-alloy framed low-profile handgun is equipped with a de-cocker making it perfect for individuals who prefer to carry their handgun with the hammer down. This carry method adds an additional level of safety as the first trigger pull is heavy with additional trigger pulls being in the light crisp single action. Like its full-sized counterpart the CZ75 P-01 is highly ergonomic due in part to a curved frame designed for a perfect fit in the shooter's hand and a tang that extends over the web of hand provides protection from hammer or slide bite. This handgun is also the first CZ model to benefit from updated manufacturing technology at CZ's Uhersky Brod factory. The upgrades allows components of the P-01 to be interchanged with P-06 models without the need for individual fitting. In addition the CZ75 P-01 has been extensively tested to ensure reliability.
