It utilizes a heavily fortified construction of Injection Molded HPX high performance resin giving the iM3100 Storm Case outstanding impact shock and crush resistance as well as an EPDM O-Ring seal to keep out water and dust. Water resistance is enhanced even further thanks to an automatic Vortex purge valve which employs a combination of Valox Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) Xenoy Polyester/Polycarbonate blend and a Gortex membrane - together this assembly ensures the air pressure on the inside of the case is the same as the air pressure on the outside of the case. Aside from the case's resistance to water dust and extreme physical force the iM3100 Storm Case can easily withstand intense heat and cold thanks to its solid construction.Other features of the iM3100 Storm Case includes a unique Press and Pull latch that locks automatically but will open with a light touch.
