APA Gen II XXX Bastard Self Timing Muzzle Brake 1x14 TPI .50 Cal GenII-XXX-1x14-50, The G2 XXX is the largest brake we make. Specifically designed for the 50 BMG. This brake has been fitted on various military platforms allowing the end user to quickly swap from a muzzle brake to a silencer depending on their needs. The Gen 2 has a nut that is a separate piece. This allows our customers to install the brake themselves at home if they already have a threaded barrel. Installations takes about 30 seconds and has no hideous crush washers or peel washers to deal with. Additionally competitive shooters can easily remove this brake for cleaning or simply to move if from barrel to barrel.The XXX was designed specifically for todays 50 caliber precision rifles but works equally well on the CheyTac cartridges or the 416 Barrett.These brakes need to be ordered caliber specific unless your gunsmith wants to open it up himself.
