It features a satin oil finish Grade I black walnut straight grip stock, classic carbine-style forearm with blued steel barrel band and drilled and tapped receiver for a top tang-mounted rear sight. The Winchester 1873 Carbine also offers a brushed polish finish sporter contour steel 20" barrel, blued steel carbine strap buttplate and saddle ring, full-length tube magazine, and steel trigger and trigger guard.
