Like its big brother the Judge Public Defender has a five-round capacity and comes standard with a rubber grip fiber optic front sight and the key operated Taurus Security System. The double-action Judge Public Defender is small enough to fit in your pocket while meeting your close-range self defense needs. Shallow rifling of the barrel means the Judge Public Defender is not a short barrel shotgun under the NFA though it is illegal in California due to that states more stringent gun laws.
