The Marker Kingpin 10 Demo Alpine Touring Ski Bindings are a lighter, lower DIN version of the flagship 13's, providing all of that smooth backcountry confidence to lighter or less aggressive riders. This year's model features a redesigned toepiece that makes step-in easier than ever, along with the tried and true alpine style heelpiece that provides the Kingpin with the same power transfer and reliable release characteristics you expect out of your inbounds bindings. And with the added bonus of demo binding adjustability, you can pass this setup around skiers with different boot sizes. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Vertical and Lateral Adjustable Release Function Vertical and lateral individually adjustable release in the heel for improved release functionality. Kingpin Climbing Aids The climbing aid offers two positions with 7deg and 13deg which can easily be accessed with the ski pole, even in an unstable standing position. Integrated elastomer paddings dampen the impact reducing the irritating traditional "clack" and allow more comfortable hiking. ISI Toe Piece The new "Intuitive Step In" tech toepiece features a rubber stop pad and a wider step-in platform with easier step-in than previous models. Kingpin Heel The revolutionary heel construction for the Pin Technology bindings features wide sole contact points to deliver the kind of direct, lossless power transfer more frequently seen in alpine bindings.
