The Faction Studio 2 Skis really are that versatile, with a 102mm waist and a playful nature that'll make you smile every time you get on them. Faction starts with their classic lightweight Poplar core and adds Carbon Stringers for pop and a Carbon Rubber Stomp Pad so your feet don't sting when you land hard. Full Carbon Weave Between 8 and 12 strips of carbon, sandwiching either side of the ski's woodcore, are laid unidirectionally, providing extra stability to the ski, without adding weight to the build. Each carbon strip is woven into the fiberglass to provide strength and stiffness in the full length of the ski. Flex Rating 7 (1 = Soft, 10 = Stiff) Sintered UHMW Base We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. XL 2.5mm Edges Fractions of a millimeter might not sound like much, but when it comes to edges, it adds up.
