Faction starts with their classic lightweight Poplar core and adds Carbon Stringers for pop and a Carbon Rubber Stomp Pad so your feet don't sting when you land hard. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Sintered UHMW Base Flex Rating 7 (1 = Soft, 10 = Stiff) XL 2.5mm Edges Fractions of a millimeter might not sound like much, but when it comes to edges, it adds up. The 2.5mm edges add an extra 25% of height to Faction's standard 2mm edge, making for a stronger and more durable ski. Full Carbon Weave Between 8 and 12 strips of carbon, sandwiching either side of the ski's woodcore, are laid unidirectionally, providing extra stability to the ski, without adding weight to the build.
