Moving the Titanal laminate from the middle of the ski to the outside rails and isolating it from the Titanal under the bindings means less tip flutter and more confidence on edge, while the smooth flex can be attributed to the unique TrueBlend Freeride core with each of 3 distinct woods providing a super strong platform underfoot with the tip and tail flexibility you want for variable snow. The new R11 still impresses with comp-worthy stability at speed, but is even more capable in tight technical terrain - and it's begging you to take it to the limit. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.
