The new heel employs an "Automatic Braking System(R)" activated by rotating the heel unit rather than the previous push-in lever. As with other ATK bindings, the ease of step-in and accuracy of release is unparalleled due to the use of their patented Cam Release System(R) heel pins. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
