Aluminized Steel Charcoal Chimney, Lodge Manufacturing Company has been making high quality and durable cookware since Joseph Lodge first opened his foundry in South Pittsburg, Tennessee in 1896. Portable Kitchens hasn't been making it's famous cast aluminum grill and smokers for quite that long, but we know quality when we see it. So, when we discovered that Lodge was manufacturing this charcoal chimney, we had to try it.
This durable chimney is made from heavy gauge, aluminized steel for long use and quick cooling. It has a heat shield to keep the wood handle cool. Side slots on the unit allow you to measure the briquet quantity inside the chimney and the interior grate formation promotes even airflow around the briquets for fast starting and great BBQ.
