It utilizes a durable alloy metal body and a MIL-SPEC construction, allowing it to easily withstand adverse conditions, harsh weather, and heavy recoil up to .50 caliber. The heart of the Contractor 640 is the exclusive ArmaCORE 12 Micron Sensor, which can detect a man-sized heat signature at up to 932 meters away. These heat signatures are projected onto a high-definition XGA 1024x768 AMOLED display, and are viewable in 5 different color palettes - white hot, black hot, target, rainbow, and sepia - allowing the user to adapt the Contractor 640 to their specific preferences or to different environments. Other features of the Contractor 640 include digital compass, inclinometer that help calculate distance, direction and angles for greater accuracy at extended ranges.
